“I started wearing glasses when I was nine years old and, at that time, was the only person in my class and in my family who wore them. Added to that I had a nickel allergy so I had the large plastic glasses which looked awful and I was teased at school for wearing them.
“However, as I got older, I grew in confidence and really began to enjoy wearing glasses and trying different styles,” she said.
During a visit to her local Specsavers in Main Street, Sarah received a bottle of champagne, a certificate and a £150 voucher and is now in with a chance of winning £10,000 along with a luxury holiday for two to New York and a glasses wardrobe from Specsavers worth £1,000.
