Caught with three bags of cocaine in Portrush
Coleraine Magistrates Court was told that on at 2.10am on March 29 this year door staff told police they had detained a man on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs and at first police seized two bags of white powder and then found a third during a further search. There were three grammes of cocaine with a street value of £120.
The defendant told police it was cocaine and said it was for his own use.

Hide AdA defence lawyer told the court on Monday April 25 his client was on a coach trip from Belfast and a third party offered him the cocaine for £80 and “foolishly” he bought it.
District Judge Liam McNally fined Michael Mulligan (23), of Altan Drive in the Lagmore area of west Belfast, £350 after the defendant admitted a charge of possessing Class A controlled drugs.
