Slapped former wife on cheek during incident
In court last week pleading guilty to common assault on the female was Colin Raymond Castle from Kenlis Place.
The court heard police were called by the injured party, who was in a distressed state.

Hide AdShe claimed there had been a verbal dispute between her and the defendant and he slapped her on the cheek.
He then asked her to leave the property and continued shouting at the woman.
The PPS prosecutor told the court that the woman then went to the bathroom and injured herself.
The woman suffered slight swelling below the cheek, marks to her neck and bruising.

Hide AdThe court heard that the injured party now lives in England and Castle has no interest in contacting her.
A solicitor said Castle lives alone and is not in any current relationship.
Castle was sentenced to three months in prison, suspended for two years. He was also ordered to pay £750 compensation.
