Drumtara death - man is named
Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Ballymena.
The 69-year-old died in the Drumtara area of the town on Tuesday afternoon. He has been named by locals as Matt ‘Matha’ Shirley from the Wakehurst Road in Harryville.
Neighbours and acquaintances expressed shock and sympathy on social media as news of the death broke late last night.
Police have appealed for anyone who has any information about an argument between a group of people to contact them.
