English lorry driver cut from vehicle after crashing into Pomeroy ditch
A 68-year-old lorry driver from England had to be cut from his vehicle by firefighters after crashing into a ditch along a Pomeroy road.
Fire crew from Pomeroy used a Dewalt saw, a canvas sheet and an extension ladder to release him from the cab following the one-vehicle RTC.
The incident took place just before 5pm on Monday evening (March 7).

Hide AdIt is understood the delivery driver was examined by paramedics at the scene, but did not leave for hospital in an ambulance.
A police spokesperson said he had suffered minor injuries and that recovery of the vehicle was requested from Lurganeden Road.
