Fundraising coffee morning a great success
A small group from St Paul’s Parish call at St Paul’s Court each Sunday to hold a small service and sing hymns with the tenants, which they really enjoy as many cannot attend church due to ill health.
St Paul’s Parish Church asked if they could hold a coffee morning at the Court to raise funds for hymnbooks, which would be suitable for older people with dementia.

Many local businesses contributed to the coffee morning and the tombola, including Country Kitchen, Rustic Rainbow, Julie Elliott, Irwin’s Medical Hall, Heritage, Savers Chemist, Azora, Gems, Be My Wweet Cart and Tescos.
Team Leader at St Paul’s Court, Kathryn Carvill, said: “A great deal of work goes into an event like this and would not be possible without hard work from the staff team volunteering in their free time and also the kind contributions from families, staff and local business in the community.”
