Gran uses iPad to watch wedding live
Naomi Ellis (23), the daughter of the Rev Dr Ian Ellis, former rector of Loughgall and Grange, was delighted to share her big day with her gran, 87-year-old Helen McMahon.
Mrs McMahon was unable to travel to Rossorry Parish Church in Enniskillen, where the Rev Ellis is now rector and where he conducted the wedding service for his daughter.

Added Heather, “We trialled it a few days before and it worked a dream on the day. We streamed it through Facetime on an iPhone. There just needs to be Wi-Fi to receive it and Mahon Hall were very helpful in helping us set it up.
“My mum was absolutely delighted. She was joined by her sister Gretta Stewart who is also in her 80s and was unable to travel. One of my friends in Portadown, Andrea Kilpatrick, also went along to help her make the link.”
The Ellis family, originally from Lynden Gate Park in Portadown, moved to Enniskillen after the Rev Ellis was appointed rector of Rossorry parish in December 2014.
