Man bailed following allegation of serious sexual assault on man in Waterside
A man arrested in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault on another man in Londonderry at the weekend has been released on police bail.
Police in the city have confirmed that they received a report of the incident on Sunday, August 7, which is understood to have happened in the Waterside on the previous evening - Saturday, August 6.
A police statement regarding the incident said that the alleged assailant was released on police bail whilst their enquiries continue.
