Man charged with Peatlands Park rape

A 23-year-old man has been charged with rape following a serious sexual assault on a woman in County Armagh on Wednesday.

He is expected to appear before Omagh Magistrates Court on Monday, May 2.

Detectives PSNI’s Rape Crime Unit charged the man following the incident at Peatlands Park.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
