More than 200 people and 60 ambulances arrive at Craigavon hospital in one day
More than 200 people and 60 ambulances arrived in one day at Craigavon Hospital recently.
However, a Southern Trust Spokesman said Wednesday, August 26 had not been “exceptionally busy”.
“Patients arriving via ambulance were brought immediately into the Emergency department and triaged by nursing staff. 83% of all new patients were triaged within 15 minutes.
“Almost 70% of these patients were triaged, assessed and either discharged or admitted within four hours.
“No patients waited longer than the 12 hour target.”
