Noirland gets Portstewart screening
The film, which took audiences by storm at this year’s Belfast Film festival, will be shown on the big screen at Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart on Thursday November 27 at 8pm. Admission is only £4, payable at the door – with proceeds helping the filmmakers enter the movie in forthcoming film festivals.
Noirland is an anthology of three connected stories. The film opens with a murdered girl clutching a flash drive in her hand as she dies. A young cop with a drinking problem is partnered with a more mature detective investigating the killing.

The second story revolves around a cyber-vigilante who abducts the daughter of an average couple.
He gives them six hours to confess, but neither the husband or wife seems to know what it is they’re supposed to confess to.
The final story reveals who killed the girl at the beginning, as all the story strands come together.
