The Halloween celebration is a joint venture between Newtownabbey Borough Council and Glengormley Community Group, with volunteers from the community organisation playing a major role in the preparations for the event and the clean-up afterwards.
Hailing this year’s event a great success, Community Group chairperson, Catherine Hardy said: “This was the third year of Ghouls & Fools and the biggest attendance so far. We are delighted to work in partnership with the council on this project.”

Meanwhile, Glengormley Community Group will hold its annual general meeting upstairs in the Thunderdome Cafe on Saturday, December 7 at 10am.
All members of local community are welcome to come along and hear what the group is about and its plans for the area in the years ahead.
