Male found ‘safe and well’ following multi-agency search

Detailing the operation in a post on social media this morning (Tuesday), a spokesperson for Portmuck Coastguard said: “We were requested to search for a high risk missing person in the Whiteabbey to Fortwilliam area at 9.20pm on December 14.
“Portmuck Coastguard team were assisted by Bangor CG search and rescue team, K9 search dogs Max and Luna, Bangor RNLI lifeboat, Lagan search and rescue lifeboat, PSNI air support and dog section.

Hide Ad“After an extensive land, sea and air search further information was received which suggested the missing person was out of our search area and further inland. All search teams were stood down.”
Providing an update to the Times, a PSNI spokesperson said: “This male was located safe and well in the Seaview area of Belfast.”
