Special recognition for local charities
Paul Snelling and Terry McMullan from the Zomba Action Project and Ian Ellis from Millburn Community Association joined representatives from groups across Northern Ireland who received funding from the Foundation.
The Zomba Action Project received a grant of £5,000 to improve conditions for 200 farmers in Malawi from the Foundation’s International Grant Programme, while Millburn Community Association received £3,400 from the Standard Grant Programme.

Hide AdThe Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland celebrated the work of more than 500 organisations which have touched the lives of nearly 200,000 disadvantaged people.
Representatives from many of these groups visited Parliament Buildings at Stormont for a special event to recognise and celebrate their work.
Speaking at the event, Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland said: “The Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland supports some of the most worthy causes in our society.”
