Tourists 'damaging cars' in Bushmills
A NUMBER of tourists have been hit with added expense because of the way a road is laid out in the tourist hotspot of Bushmills, DUP councillor David McAllister said.
He said: "Our tourist friends from America and in particular in Canada have wrecked at least 12 (hire) cars" because of build-outs on the Castlecatt Road.
He said one visitor had to fork out 500 and the councillor said the buildouts should be taken away.
Cllr McAllister said B&B owners have had to assist their guests to garages.
Roads Service official Terry Fulton said they would look at the matter.
