WorldHost accreditation for businesses
The local businesses present were: Clintagh Cottages, a small group of self-catering cottages; Murloc Angling and Rural Pursuits which is dedicated to fly-fishing; Beechgrove Annex, luxury accommodation located on a working farm; and Lisburn City Centre Management which promotes Lisburn and the City Centre businesses.
Alderman Allan Ewart, Chairman of the Council’s Economic Development Committee, presenting the certificates, said: “It is excellent news that a wide variety of local businesses are completing this Northern Ireland wide initiative.

Hide Ad“To attain WorldHost the companies must invest in their services and premises to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and to meet ever-changing customer needs.
“I hope that being recognised as a WorldHost Business will attract new customers to these businesses; and that existing customers will return on a regular basis.
“The tourism industry is very important to Lisburn City Council; and it is delighted to be able to publicly acknowledge the high achievements of all tourist facilities.”
WorldHost is a customer service training programme that was developed for the Northern Ireland market by NITB and the tourism and hospitality sector skills council People 1st.
The programme offers delegates a comprehensive training toolkit that can be used across a wide variety of industries where the quality of front-line customer service is key to business success.
