MOTORBIKES: Character building weekend for Andy Reid at Knockhill
Speaking after a character-building weekend at Knockhill, where mechanical gremlins and a huge slice of misfortune only allowed the Quattro Plant Cool Kawasaki racer to score eights points, he explained: “All I can say is that Knockhill was a tough weekend for us. An electrical problem in Saturday’s race stopped me from scoring any points. In race two on Sunday we did score points in tough conditions when the main concern was staying upright and we finished eighth.
“Frustratingly, we had good pace in the dry conditions but I feel as if we just lacked the ideal setting in the wet, but that’s Knockhill for you. I’ve made it home in one piece and I am already preparing for Snetterton (July 8-10).
